Reverend Robert E. Campbell, Jr., Lives and  practices the words found in Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."

The Lord led Reverend Robert E. Campbell, Jr. to accept the leadership of the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church on May 12, 1997.

On September 1, 1955,  Reverend Robert E. and Doris Campbell, were blessed with their "promised child"  Reverend Robert E. Campbell, Jr.   The Campbell's house was filled with wholesome values and Christian principles. Reverend Robert E. and Doris Campbell, by precept and example followed the teaching which states : "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" {Proverbs 22:6}. This training took place in the West Beulah Missionary Baptist Church of Beaumont, Texas. Robert E. Campbell, Jr., accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized April, 1962. As a member of the Youth Department Robert E. Campbell, Jr., served as a Junior Usher, Sunday School Secretary, member of the Junior Choir, Training Union and areas of the West Beulah Missionary Baptist Church. With progression of time, maturity and the admonition of the Lord, he served the West Beulah Missionary Baptist Church and other churches in Beaumont ,Texas as a musician. Educated in the public schools of Beaumont where he graduated from the Hebert High School class of 1973, and attended Bishop College of Dallas,Texas, before graduating from McNeese State University December, 2001.

Under the leadership of Reverend A. Louis Jones, Pastor of the Scott Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend Robert E. Campbell, Jr. accepted the call to the ministry on April 13, 1986, and was ordained February 4,1990. Reverend Robert E. Campbell, Jr., was the faithful Pastor of the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Colmesneil, Texas for seven years.

Reverend Robert E. Campbell and Eunice M. Hair-Campbell, are blessed to have four beautiful daughters: Corinthians, Amber, Maya and Elizabeth. They are also blessed to have one grandchild,  T'yn Alexander Noir'.

Currently Reverend Robert E. Campbell, Jr., is the President of the Baptist Minister's Union of Lake Charles and Vicinity, and instructor at the American Baptist College of Lake Charles.

Reverend Robert E. Campbell, Jr's. motto is "Live one day at a time, keeping God first, allowing God to do the rest, because there is nothing going to happen to me that God cannot handle."
